Congratulations to:a

 Keren Greenberg MPH – Pollin Center health promotion expert, for approval of a grant (by a generous anonymous donor) which will enable her to develop and implement a “train the trainers”s

program to promote nutrition literacy among disadvantaged populations.s

 Nisreen Agbaria MPH, RN – Pollin Center Health promotion expert for the Arab community, for approval of a grant from the Israel Lung and Tuberculosis Association.  This grant along with the grant previously awarded by the Israel Cancer Association will enable us to conduct the success and barrier assessment component of our initiative to develop a Community-Based Smoke Free Homes program in the Arab community

and to

Pollin Center supported researcher, Eli Shai Assayag for winning third prize at the 2018 CardioFemme Congress for his abstract on Women’s Heart-Health in Israel.  This Pollin Center research of the impact of menopause on heart muscle function, was conducted in cooperation with the Hadassah endocrinology department.   We would like to convey special thanks to mentor Professor Rivka Pollak.
